National Dental Association Foundation was formed in 1976 as a 501(c)3
non-profit entity organized to pursue charitable, educational and scientific/research
endeavors. Since then, the Foundation has been successful in promoting
its ambitious agenda by securing sponsorships and grants from a wide variety
of sources across the country.

NDAF Gold Leaf Society
The NDAF Gold Leaf Society is a special
society consisting of members who have been gracious enough to donate
$1,000 or more to the NDAF Building Fund. The names of Gold Leaf Society
Members will be placed in the foyer of our new headquarters building.
Please join the gold leaf society, make your contribution today. It will
help us pay the mortgage. So we urge you to be a part of this history-making
event. Become a Gold Leaf Society member, or a donor, and your name will
be placed on the donor's board in the reception room of the National Headquarters.

National Dental Association Foundation
(NDAF)/ Colgate Palmolive Scholarship
Established in 1990, the NDAF/Colgate Palmolive Scholarship Fund provides
financial aid to African American and underrepresented minorities pursuing
careers as dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants. Since 1990,
3.2 million dollars has been awarded to 2,300 students from across the
country.
Research
and Training
Over a five year period, the NDAF awarded 2 million dollars in funding
for faculty and student research projects, clinical training programs
and student internships. The NDAF funds ongoing research projects at Howard
University, Meharry Medical College and Morehouse School of Medicine.
