The University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry, Department of Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences, is seeking full and part-time faculty in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series to support its teaching programs in preclinical education.
UCSF is committed to the teaching and practice of being diagnostic centric, highly preventative and minimally invasive dentistry. Our preclinical simulation activities include utilization of the electronic health record, evidenced based critical thinking and treatment planning incorporated with hands on technical and procedural skills. Primary duties will include preclinical education and some predoctoral clinical supervision in general dentistry.
The individuals selected must have U.S. DDS/DMD/ or equivalent degree. Preferred that applicants have current or eligible for California dental licensure. At least three years clinical dental experience and previous predoctoral teaching is preferred.
