Job Description:

The University of Florida-College of Dentistry is seeking applications for a clinical track faculty position in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank. The University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) is one of the leading dental schools in the United States devoted to improving and promoting oral health throughout Florida, the nation, and worldwide through excellence in teaching, research, patient care, and service.

The faculty member will be responsible for teaching within the Student Oral Surgery Clinic at the pre-doctoral (DMD) level, excelling in academic pursuits and service, and some limited participation in developing departmental research and/or other scholarly activities. The position requires a DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree. Experience with outpatient surgery, including alveoloplasty, surgical extractions, and medical management of patients, is preferred. Florida Dental License preferred. Salary and rank commensurate with credentials and experience.

Expected Salary:

Salary and rank are commensurate with credentials and experience.

Minimum Requirements Include:

• DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree.
• Previous Clinical Practice Experience.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

• Experience with outpatient surgery, including alveoloplasty, surgical extractions, and medical management of patients.
• Florida Dental License.
