On Saturday, November 23, 2024, NDA members and guests gathered at the MGM National Harbor to celebrate the inaugural of Dr. Cheryle Baptiste as the 101^st President of the National Dental Association.

The event was the culmination of a presidential transition weekend that included:

• The NDA-HEALTH NOW® program conducted by NDA volunteers to bring oral health to the local community
• A New Dentist Mixer
• A productive Board meeting to discuss the accomplishments, current state, and future of the NDA
• A Welcome Reception for the incoming President
• A Continuing Education (CE) session about “The Business of Dentistry” facilitated by our partners at Equitable Advisors
• Presentation of a $10,000 scholarship to future dentist Anthony James, funded by our partner MetLife

NDA members and guests of all ages had a splendid evening. A special thanks goes to the entire NDA team, officers, partners and friends who support our work, and made the Gala a night to remember.
