Clinical Faculty (part-time)

The University of Maryland School of Dentistry invites applicants to apply for a 2 day per week (part-time) clinical faculty position in the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry under the Division of Orthodontics.

Position Duties:

  • Supervise and teach postdoctoral students in the orthodontic clinic.
  • Support pre-doctoral students in the orthodontic clinic.
  • Mentoring students in treatment planning that includes orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
  • Serving as a professional role model for students.
  • Participating in departmental activities.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Commitment to be a team player in planning and identifying and resolve problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • DMD, DDS from a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited institution or foreign equivalent dental degree.
  • Eligibility for teaching dental licensure in Maryland.

Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position will be available until filled.
