On behalf of the National Dental Association (NDA), we would like to invite you to submit a proposal for the prestigious 40 Under Forty New Dentists Leadership Award sponsored by Colgate Palmolive.
This award recognizes outstanding dentists with less than 10 years of experience who demonstrate exceptional leadership and a commitment to improving oral health in our communities.
The Colgate New Dentists Leadership Award provides a $5,000 prize to support the development and implementation of a program that advances oral health. The award is broken down as follows:
- $5,000 will be awarded to you, including travel and an award grant to support your program. ($2500 in Vegas and $2500 to support travel for 2025 convention.)
Program Requirements
To be eligible for the award, you are required to submit a written description (no more than 400 words) of a program you plan to lead that fulfills at least one of the following criteria:
- Improves oral health outcomes in underserved communities.
- Enhances the recruitment or engagement of NDA members.
- Develops innovative educational programs for dental professionals or the public.
The program implementation timeline is as follows:
- Program Description Submission: July 22nd 11:59 pm PST
- Program Implementation: implemented prior to June 2025
- Program Presentation: You will be expected to present the key outcomes of your program at the next annual NDA Dental Conference.
