Clinical or Tenure-Track Faculty – Oral Pathology, Radiology & Medicine

The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry is seeking a full-time Clinical or Tenure-Track Faculty member in the Department of Oral Pathology, Radiology, and Medicine. Primary responsibilities: Clinical and didactic teaching at the predoctoral and graduate student level; Participation in the collegiate faculty practice to include interpretation of CBCTs; and Basic Science and/or translational research.

The position is available as of July 31, 2025; screening will begin immediately. Applicants must have: DDS/DMD or equivalent; Completion of a CODA/CDAC-accredited advanced training program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology; and, by time of appointment, successful completion of Part 1 of the Board Certification Exam or Board Certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Tenure-track applicants must also have a track record of protocol-driven research with potential for future grant support. Desirable qualifications: Master’s or equivalent; and Didactic and clinical/technical teaching experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the predoctoral and graduate student level.

Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any history of misconduct or pending research misconduct investigation, including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment, and provide a related release. They will also be subject to a criminal background and credential check.
